Christmas Facelift for Big Fish

Big Fish Enterprises is having a dramatic facelift over the Christmas period with the aim to improve the range of events on offer at the biggest events company in Cambridge. From the company’s beginnings promoting club nights the decision has been taken to cut back to just three club nights a week with a new emphasis being put on theatre, comedy and live events.

Big Fish has retained its three biggest nights; The night formerly known as Jelly Baby every Tuesday at Ballare, Oasis every Sunday at Fez Club and Secret Discotheque every Thursday at The Place. This freed up resources to allow Big Fish to create the first ever monthly comedy night in the centre of Cambridge; The Velvet Onion Comedy Club at Henrys Bar.

Not only that, Big Fish has remained committed to promoting new writing in theatre and this February is proudly producing its second theatrical production. The hilarious new writing of Stef Porter is being performed at the Fitzpatrick Theatre and we can’t wait for The Final Countdown to premier.

What a great few months we’ve had since October at Big Fish we would just like to congratulate a few of our loyal customers who won one of the many competitions this term. Congratulations to Katie Brown of Downing College who walked away with a brand new Wii and Wii Sports Resort (batteries included) from Wii Baby. Congratulations to the Girton football team, Emma Rugby and Caius Netball all of whom won sports equipment at Sports Superstars at Oasis. The biggest congratulations must go to Andy Aitken (Robinson Rentals), Andy Stone (Girton Green Monsters), Liz Storer, Tom French (St John’s Bar) and Sally Clayton (Sally, Rachel, Grace) all of whom won at Legend Baby and will each have part of Ballare named after them to be unveiled on 12^th January 2010.

Make sure to keep an eye out for the competitions Big Fish will be running over the next few months with even more fantastic prizes coming up for grabs.
